Saint Martin's Island locally known as " Narikel Jinjira" (Coconut Island), is the only coral island in Bangladesh. Located in the Bay of Bengal, about 9 km south of the mainland at Teknaf, this breathtaking island is a tropical paradise with crystal -clear blue waters, white sandy beaches, and vibrant marine life.

Saint Martin's Island covers an area of only 8 square kilometers, yet it offers some of the most picturesque landscapes in Bangladesh. The island is home to thousands of coconut trees, giving it its lacal name. Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Saint Martin's Island is from November to January When the weather is pleasant, and the sea remains calm. During the monsoon season, boat service are unavailable due to rough seas.

How to Get There ?

To reach Saint Martins Island, travelers must go to Teknaf, the southernmost part of mainland Bangladesh. From there, several passenger ships, including Keari Sindbad operate ferry service to the island.
