My First Plane Journey: Delhi to Dhaka with Biman Bangladesh Airlines

Traveling by plane for the first time is always excitement experience, filled with aniticipation, a bit of nervousness and the thrill of flying high above the clouds. My first flight from Delhi to Dhaka with Bangladesh Biman was a journey I will never forget.

Pre-flight Excitement

The day began with a mix of excitement and a little anxiety. It was my first time at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, one of the busiest airports in India. You can get all the international flight from this airport. The airport itself was a sight to behold bustling with people from all over the world and filled with shops, resturants and lounges.

I reached airport 3 hours before boarding. My flight was 03:15 BG 398 Boeing 737-800. After checking in my luggage and receiving my boarding pass, I made my way through security. The process was smooth but I could not help but feel a little nervous as this was all new to me. One through security, I had somne times to explore the airport before my flight. 

But there was a sad news for me, the flight will be delay one hour. And sad news became good news for me because I can explore more in this airport.

Boarding the Plane

Near about 5.30 PM we came to board the plane, I was both excited and a little nervous. Seeing the large Biman Bangladesh Airlines aircraft.

The Takeoff

The moment the plane began to taxi towards the runway, my heart started racing. I could feel the plane picking up speed, and before I knew it, we were airborne. The feeling of takeoff was exhilarating! Watching the ground gradually shrink and the city of Delhi become a patchwork of colors below was an experience like no other. Once we reached cruising altitude, I was treated to a breathtaking view of the clouds. It was like being in another world, surrounded by endless blue skies and fluffy white clouds.

In-Flight Experience

Biman Bangladesh Airlines provided a comfortable and pleasant in-flight experience. The seats were cozy, and the flight attendants were attentive and friendly. Shortly after takeoff, we were served a meal, which was surprisingly delicious. The meal included a choice of dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, along with a selection of beverages. As this was my first flight, I took full advantage of the in-flight entertainment system. Watching movies and listening to music helped pass the time as we cruised towards Dhaka.

Landing in Dhaka

As we began our descent into Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, I felt a mix of excitement and anticipation. The approach to Dhaka was beautiful, with the green landscapes of Bangladesh coming into view. The landing was smooth, and as the plane touched down, I felt a sense of accomplishment. I had successfully completed my first plane journey! Exiting the plane, I was greeted by the warm and humid air of Dhaka, a stark contrast to the air-conditioned comfort of the aircraft.

Arrival in Dhaka

The arrival process at Dhaka airport was straightforward. After going through immigration and collecting my luggage, I stepped out into the bustling city of Dhaka, ready to explore a new country and experience its culture.

My first plane journey from Delhi to Dhaka was an unforgettable experience. The thrill of flying, the stunning views from the window, and the overall excitement of traveling to a new country made it a memorable adventure.
